As part of its broader strategy of investing in technical manufacturing and engineering firms, CREO acquired a RAIL Acquisition, LLC in early 2008. RAIL owns Central Industrial Supply (CIS), a global solutions provider specializing in electro-mechanically integrated solutions for a wide variety of industries. With over 40 years of experience in servicing customers worldwide, and over 10 years experience in low-cost overseas manufacturing, CIS differentiates itself from its competition through its ability to adapt to the ever-changing business climates in which our customers compete.

CREO partnered with CIS management to develop an expansion plan that contemplates both organic and acquisitive growth.
